The jobs can be scheduled by Datastage Director.In order to schedule the jobs,follow these steps :

a) Click on View -> Schedule in the menu of  datastage director.
b) You will see a list of the jobs.
c)In order to schedule a job,right click on it and click on "Add to schedule" from the menu
   which appears.
=>The jobs status and progress can be viewed via the datastage director's job log.
=>In order to monitor a running job,rigt click on the job's log an click on "Monitor"
