yes, in BO XIR2 we have Alerters however i am not sure about the legacy versions.

WebIntelligence XIR2 provides you with the ability to create alerters, but this functionality is not provided in the earlier versions of WebI

In Version6 we can't create alerts in webi  But it is available in XIR2

Yes, we can do this. This is available in all version. In 4.0 version it is called as New Rule.
