In test director using launch button we can connect WR to TD

To connect Test director from Winrunner go to the Tools menu and in there choose Test director connection.

we cannot Test director from win runner by the following way:

Tools->Test director connection.

In winrunner click Tools -> options-> TD-> choose a td database from database link -> connect to link.(Ms access is the default database)

   above all answers are right and addition is by using Tsl statement also we are connecting to the test director:

        TDAPI_serverinitinstance("servername","path")

In winrunner, click tools>options>Test director
choose a test director database from database list, click connect to link.

In test director,when we are dealing with automation.....Test script is activated...but in dealing with manual,test script button is not activated.in automation by clicking test script,one LAUNCH button is displayed,by clicking it we can connect to any oneof the automated toollike winrunner,QTP.....etc.
