The behaviour of the application is recorded by using the winrunner and the data s parameterised if any any and in this way the funtionality can be automated by using the winrunner

Winrunner records the functionality of the Application and take input through parameterization. itz a vry short description. there are two types of recording mode in winrunner:

1: Analog(conatins mouse functioning)

2: Context sensitive(Contains x y Coordinate)

basically when we records the application, winrunner generates TSL in background we can use other types of TSL functions after recording.

  Basically winrunner is a functionality testing tool,in that we will test writh respect to objects and windows.

By recording the event thru analog/context sensitive mode, we can perform the action repeatedly thru d tools there v can check the functionolities. Say for ex, whether the ok button works properly or not, whthr the next button leads to next page or not,etc..,.
