Q= l/r

as circumfrence is 100 units

then, 2(3.14)r = 100

this means, r = 50/(3.14)

now

Q=l/r

this means, l=Q * r

=> l = 50/9 = 5.55

length of arc= (angle inscribed/360) * circumference

l=(20/360)*100

=100/18

=5.55 units

WE KNOW THAT CIRCUMFERENCE = 2 * 3.142 * RADIUS

AND THEN  RADIUS = (CIRCUMFERENCE )/2*3.142

RADIUS = 100/2*3.142

RADIUS = 50/3.142

SO , ANGLE = 20 DEGREES

ANGLE = LENGTH/RADIUS

(20 * 3.142)/180 = (LENGTH*3.142)/ 50                           CHANGE DEGREE TO RADIANS

THEREFORE  LENGTH = 100/18 = 5.5

100 units for 360 degree
then what is for 20 degree

 ans = 100*20/360
        = 5.55

Too easy.

we know angle in radians= length of arc/ radius of circle
2*3.14.* =100
3.14*r = 50

now angle = 20 degree= 20* 3.14/ 180 radians

length of arc = angle * radius
                      = 20*3.14/180  * r
                      =  20/180*  3.14*r
                     =  20/180 * 50
                     =50/9 units

Circumference = 100 units.
Angle covered  =360 deg
per deg, arch length = 100/360 units/deg.
For 20 degs, arch length = 100/360*20 units = 50/9units = 5.56 unit apprx.

Length of arc =(2*3.142*R)*angle/360;

                     =(100*20)/360;

                     =5.55 cms
