Walkthrough is an "informal" meeting to review the work products to see that whether they are tracing to the client requirements or not. Focus is on "tracability" between client requirements and the work product.

Inspection is a "formal" meeting to "uncover the errors" before they are passed to another activity in the software development life cycle. Also focus is that standards are followed in the work products.

A walkthrough is an informal meeting where the person who set up the meeting wants to gain feedback from stakeholders and experts before he finalizes a project.  Developers often have code walkthroughs early in their projects.  The attendees typically have had no opportunity to review any documentation before this meeting and learns about the particulars of the project during the meeting.

An inspection is a formal meeting where the person who set up the meeting has completed the project and wants to gain approval from stakeholders and experts.  Developers typically have code inspections toward the end of their projects.  The attendees have reviewed the documentation before this meeting and have come prepared to deliver useful feedback.
