What is Load balancing?

If the number of incoming clients requests exceeds the number of processes in a server class, the TP Monitor may dynamically start new ones and this is called Load balancing.

when to or more routes has same matrics to the same n/w load balancing is done i,e packets send to destination using all paths which have same matrics .all routing protocols support 4 by default but upto 6 and ospf support multiple path load balancing

If router recive multiple path with the same administrative distance and cost to a destination in this case load-balancing will be accur. In the case of load-blancing router use the round dropping packets.
