Hi

How many VUSERs were simulated?

It's depends on your client requirement it should be clearly specified in NFR Documents. Virtual Transactions also depend on your application busineess flow.

so better to ask client for which functionalities are going to effect the servers according to that you can scale the perticular functionalitites expected response times with expecting daywise visited end users of that application.

How may different transactions were simulated?

i am not getting your question i think you are asking about transaction Points available in Load Runner.

In that case you can able to give start and End only.

for eg:

Application Name: Google

Visited End User: 1000 Perday

Total Hrs: 24 Hrs

per Min: 1000/24 41.66/60 0.7 Persons/min

above calc is userload of the applicationin production.

based on the client servers configration he will give the expected response time for that application.

with the using of Vusers concepts we will to the Test with same configurations and with the help of Result we are comparing the Actual Vs Expected.
