total number of mens=20*30=600.total number of hours=20*9=180. 600--------------180 40--------------? =12hrs. CHECK:- perday working hrs is 12hrs.In 15 days they will compleate the whole work i.e 15*12=180. so 40 mens working in 15 days will compleate the work.
