Simply speaking BI is the capability of analyzing the data of a datawarehouse in advantage of that business. A BI tool analyzes the data of a datawarehouse and to come into some business decision depending on the result of the analysis.

DATAWAREHOUSE:Datawarehouse is intergrated time-variant subject oriented and non-volatile collection data in support of mangement decision making process.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE:Business Intelligence is the process of extracting the data converting it into information and then into knowledge base is known as Business Intelligence.

A data warehouse is a database geared towards the business intelligence requirements of an organisation. It integrates data from the various operational systems and is typically loaded from these systems at regular intervals.

BI - It is category of technologies that allows for gathering storing accessing and analyzing data to help business users make better decisions.

To make Business Analysis effective and efficient we require specialized form of storage. This special form of storage of data is called Data Warehouse and the process DataWarehousing.

Business Intelligence is the mechanism of using data according to type of industry for predictive analysis fault findings process improvement etc.

according to my knowledge...

Business intelligence: business intelligence is a group application which is used to gather information providing access to analyze the information and proving this information to end user to take timely decisions.

Data warehouse: data warehouse is a centralized database. Extract data from desperate systems; transform the data into one single format and load transformed data into target/data warehouse.
