In Sap we have n number of fields.some fields names we know and if we dnt know abt table name of that particular field or vice versa then what is the way to find out.

Select the fieldname for which you want to know the table name.Then choose where-used-list button where it shows list ,out of which you select table name option in that list.

Then the table names containing this field is displayed.

Hi,
     Assume  all the fields are appearing on a selection screen .Select the field and press F1 , it shows a pop-screen and from there u have to select the Technical Attributes of that field, is shows the table name .
 
     Select the field-->F1-->Technical Attributes-->tablename and field name.
