If 1/4 of the time from midnight plus 1/2 of the time from now to midnight is the present time,then what is the present time ?

Let The present Time B X

(1/4)*x+((24-x)*1/2)=x

x/4+x=12

5x=48

x = 9 hrs and 36 mins

The equation would be as :

let the current time be t

then ,

      (24+1/4t)+(24-1/2t)=t

I'm not 2 sure

if anybody knows the exact answer then plz post the same.
