hi Friends, I m Muhammad ovais student of IET-BHADDAL,ROPAR. i m providing the latest joined campus Infosys placement test held at CIET,Rajpura near Chandigarh. THe test held on 22 April 2006. 10 puzlles were there in the test to solve in 1 an hr. No negative marking.solve Shakuntala Devi and George J. Summers u will definitely make it clear.

the questions are:

1. Afrog living under water suddenly falls down 30ft. It moves up 3ft daily in day time but at night it got back 2ft. bcoz of water pressure. how many days will it take to come out from water.
Ans. 27 days very simple Problem

2. In a school the total number of students are divisible by each of 6,7,10 (or 12,5,20 i dont remember). How many students are there in the School.
Ans. 420

3. aconditional problem related Annie, Fanny,Bannie
i. Annie says Fannie is lying.
ii. fanny says Bannie is lying something like this ......

4. This was a conditional problem.. Four ppls were given and their proffesion were given. some conditions were given. by making use og=f the conditiohns u have to find out the profession of someone. idont remember the answer sorry for this...

5. a couple goes tfor shopping. Lady buys a sari. gentleman buy a Hat. and lady also buys a Hat.They had a total of Rs.140/- i think. and some conditions were given like the cost of hat is double that of sari.. When they return they left with Rs. 0. you have to find out the Cost price of each indiviual item.

6. @$! is 675 $@! is 736 nad some more conditions. (this is not the exact question it s is just an idea abt the question.). Yu have to tell the value of !@$ asomething lik ethis..

7. This question was related to Relation between dollars and Pennies. If one knows the relation one can solve this question within 30 secs. ithink 1 dollar =16 pennies (or 10 pennies) confirm it sorry.

sorry guys rest three i dont remember.. One of the rest three was very simple. other two takes time.

REMEMER INFOSYS ALSO GOES FOR UPPER-CUT-OFF NOT ONLY LOWER CUT-OFF. NO NEGATIVE MARKING THERE.

JUST REFER SHAKUNTALA DEVI AND GEORGE J.SUMMERS U WILL DEFINITELY CLAER THE PUZZ;LES SECTIONS. tHERE PACKAGE SI ALSO GOOD RS. 2.7 lakh (BUT EARLIER THEY ANNOUNCED AS 1.8 LAKH.INCREASED THE PACKAGE ONLY 10-15 DAYS EARLIER.)
