1. It is web-based reporting wherein, reports can be easily accessed from anywhere through a browser.

main difference is multilingual reports can be done in report net where as its not possible in 7 series

In both we can post the reports to web but can't do modifications in Impromptu .Correct me if ám wrong

Drabacks of Impromptu:

1) Impromptu is windows based application
2) It Does not support multiple data sources ( Cube)
3) No Multilingual Support.
