let x be the no of eggs originally bought be x and y be the cost per egg therefore
12 x*y -x 12/y
no cost is reduced when 2 eggs are added
12 (x+2)*(y-1) xy+2y -x-2 12+2y-x-2 2y-x 2
try to get the factors for 12 they are 2 3 4 6
so the value should be x 4 y 3
so no of eggs originally bought should be 4.. With 16 i dont know how u gou
