the formule for finding the angle between hour hand minute hand is (11 M)/2- 30h.

or 30h - (11m)/2. because any angle made twice in an hour

so the answer is exactly 75 degrees.

hour hand takes 155 degree at8:30

the minute hand takes 180 degree after the 30 minutes

so that the angle difference between hour and minute hand is 175 degree.

RE: what is the angle between hour and minute hands of...
Angle made by hour hand and minute hand assuming to point towards 2 consecutive digits in a clock is 30 degre... Consider time : '8:30' .......................there fore angle between digits 8 and 6 is 2x30=60 degree... .......................and half of an hour moves hour hand half the way to next digit.... that means creating an angle 30/2= 15 degree......So.... Final answer is 60+15=75 degree.....:-)

RE: what is the angle between hour and minute hands of...

convert the gn time into hrs 8.30 i.e (510/60) or (17/2)hrs...we noe dat in 12 hrs the angle made by hour hand is 360deg...therefore ,say A= [(17/2)*(360/12)]deg or 255 deg  ....also noe dat minute hand make 360 deg in 60 min...therefore, say B= [30*360/60] deg or 180 deg .....the difference between A nd B gives u the angle between hour hand nd minute hand i.e 255 deg - 180 deg=75 deg.
