I had my infosys written test on 11th june.. Here is my experience in written test and interviews
My test venue is in St michaels acadamey. I was asked to bring my call letter with any of the valid i.d. card... so dont forget to carry these things.. Then we were allowed inside halls and there were around 2000+ candidates. Then an application forum is given .. here we have to paste our photo so carry a set of latest photo along with u.. then while filling ur skill set make sure that u are strong in those things bcoz later the questions will be asked from that only... After one hour i got my question paper.. Thank god it was easy.. and some unknown person sat near me was already aware of the various question patterns.. he told me the answer for one eight marks just by seeing only answer sheets.. bcoz it was a previous question which ask us to find the values of xyz and g .. i should thank him.. next we got our question papers i tried with the answer the guy gave me.. what a surprise i got the same answer.. Then i started answering in which i am stong enough.. the questions are as follows...
1. My uncle has Passed away and before dying he wrote a will that says his 10000rs/- should be divide within my five nephews according to their age.. their age difference is 2 plus than the younger one.. now how much my youngest nephew got...
2. the the bees problem 1/3 of the bees goes to one flower 1/5 of the bees goes to another.. three times the difference of the bees goes to another.. now only one bee is wandering here and there.. how many no. of bees were there originally.
soln: Consider total bees = X X/3+X/5+3X(1/3-1/5)+1=X X=15
3. Then escalator problem. Same answer 22 steps... 4. then one number series.. a) 3,6,13,33,66,__. Soln:73 b) sorry forgotten but ans 1. 5.then tempatur proble.. Here u got 2 soln 1) 1,1/2,2,3,4 or 2)-1,-2,1,2,3. Both are right i written both...
6) then one age problem mr.X age is thrice his sons and his fathers age is 40 more than twise his now their sum is 1240.. what is X age.. Soln" My answer was wrong but approached correctly.. but i guess correct ans is 360(try it)
7) then day probem my boss asked me to come to company on three days after day before day after tomorrow what is the day he asked me to come if today is saturday.. Soln: Thursday.. try..
8)there were 1275 hand shakes how participated..
Soln; n(n-1)/2=1275 Consider no of person =n no of hand shake =n-1. ans= 51. 9) xyz+ab=cdef & xyz-ab= cgab whats the value of xyz and g.. i forgot the problem but this was the model.. 10)then a commitee problemm it was time killing..
Overall it was easy...
By gods Grace I got selected in written test then asked to assemble two days later.. I prepared well for interview and i finished it in a nice way.. In infosys they will check only ur problem solving skill. if u do first round well.. then thats enough rest is gods sake.. then be confident in interview and be bold in ur answers.. if u didnt answer for two questions after answering two question remember that u have done 50 % well so dont think of ur mistakes just do the next answer well.. if u perform ur puzzle well in first round then they wont ask any puzzle in second round.. So Do well in first round thats most important..

I finished it nicely but i am praying god and waiting for result.. it was a nice experience.. i gained much confidence.. So work hard thats the shorcut.. please review previous papers.. and be thoough in shakunthala devi.. Thats more than enough...

even i appeared for infy exam on 11th june. cleared 1st round. now im waiting for the result. can u pls inform me if u got any mail regarding results?! when do u expect the result?
Congrats for ur first round perfomance and my advance wishes for second round results... Then about the results... Even i'm expecting a lot... But if u just verify the previous experiences.. Somebody who finished interview had to wait for more than a month... normally infosys takes long time... So be cool.. Till then concentrate on ur normal activities... Bye...
