In the month of june 2005 ..my friend attended TCS interview and he cleared his technical round on the very next day he forced me to attend the walkin he is very much confident in me,and prepared my resume and dropped me at TCS hyderabad.its a walkin,i went inside and all people are sitting in a room and filling up some forms(pre-interview forms) and some people are writing exams previous day no exam but on the day i attended they conducted exam 100 questions everything on SAP BASIS. some people are discussing and writing the exam and they even disturbing me by asking questions. many people are experienced and more than 25 people are from intelli hyderbad and they also faced difficulty in answering that paper.
Paper was so ...easy ..if u know the concepts.
People might got break in companies with luck ..i know many people who does no difference between SAP SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE AND SAP SYSTEM LANDSCAPE. if u ask a question quickly they fill get confused. about architecture and system landscape.
i went outside the room and i finished my exam outside and entered near the room where our interviewers are expected.(They went for lunch).
Two interviewers both are aged around 33-34 aged working in TCS more than 8 years.
They are having few standard questions on daily monitoring,directory structures,SAP installations(net weaver,CRM with mobile client and ERP),about SAPDBA,archiving,pathces and kernal upgrade,service marketplace and notes,logs,dumps and resolutions,client copies,STMS and many .
They have taken more than 40 minutes and they are very happy with my answers and i thought i cleared technical round.
i am expecting for HR call...........but one more interview schduled telephonic from bangalore and its about 20 minutes and this was really disapponting for me..because i answered only for 10 minutes and rest 10 minutes ..i said pass to unknown questions..which i am unable to answer.
i thought i missed TCS.....but i did'nt aim for TCS just little disappointment.
..........now its god's turn ...
i got call from HR and and they agreed to pay 4/annum
i got the offer letter and i joined in the month of july.
people said..TCS HR are lazy .they will send the offer letter after 2 months.
I attende walkin on june 4 th and june 21 i received offer letter.
I am very happy with TCS and some times feel BAD..when i think about SAP MARKET outside.
Many companies are paying gud pay than my company.
Wait for atleast 1-2 years in any company you joined or working..dont jump like frogs...understand the company way of working and policies and....u can learn some politics aswell.

But one of my friend had cleared MR round in TCS walkin (.Net 2+ exp) held at bhubaneswar in june 2006. but still now he doesn't have Offer letter (around 4 months later..)
I have completed the technical interview at TCS and got selected too. Now I am waiting for the MR. I am an ABAP Programmer. Can you give me idea what this MR is and what sort of questions are asked for those in SAP. Is it similar to the HR round? Kindly reply. thnaks

upto my experience i presented 3 national level papersand 4 state level papers..
paper presentation is nothing but, first we want to decide the paper presentation topic.. for example.. we take E-Learning(this is my first national level paper) first we want to tel whatis meant by e-learning.. then we want to tel the advantages.. then aim of the paper.. then tel the disadvantages of the paper.. then u want to tel what u did for the drawback.. what step u made for the drawback....
then conclude with the postive manner.. this is know as paper presentation
