Hi,

Can you please tell me whether Informatica 7.1.1 powercenter version can be installed on windows XP profesional. Iam trying to install both client and server on the same machine.
But when Iam trying to create a system DSN from Source Analyzer menu, the application gets terminated it self.
Please advise me if it should work.

I am damn sure that u can install informatica7.1.1PC in windowsXP.

I think ur problem may be due to tha connect string given in the server configuration.Just check it once again

after installing both informatica server and client first configure the rep.server and start the rep.server in services. if it is running fine then config the informatica server configuration.

YES u can install INFORMATICA POWER CENTER 7.1.1 version on WINXP.It works fine.check out once by creating a new DSN.
