Hi All, Log Sheet is a record to keep track of things happenning like entry criteria & exit crieria, behaviour of a application etc.I think Log Sheet is nothing but Defect Log Sheet with Respect to Testing. The important Compents would be i. BugNo. ii. Date iii. Module iv. Descriptionv. Origin of Bug vi. Level vii. Priority viii. Assigned To ix. Action Taken x. Fixed by xi. Fixed Date xii. Status

Dear Friends,

In Testing Log sheet is nothing but, defect log sheet.

It is a doccument which contains all the details of the bug like Bug Id, Defect Description, defect raised by, raised on date, severity, status, Assigned to, resolution etc.

Regards,

Prasad.

Hey,

A log sheet is generally a defect report.Server logs are also attached to the defect, for the developers to check ,what is the behaviour of the application,  request and response of the remote server when the defect has occured.By reading that log sheet,a programmer or developer can understand, why that defect has occured. This log sheet consists of lines of code according to the series of events that made the defect to occur.
