I am getting installation problems while trying to install Informatica 6.1
It says that PmRepServer service should be installed.
Any suggestions should be appreciated

I have installed powercenter6 recently and it is working fine. If u can send me what exactly the error i will try to solve it.

when iam trying to install the s/w..it says PmRepserver needs to started...i had tried it many ways

plzz help me in this regard

any suggestions are apprecaited.

You need to check the repository server, informatica server and client while installing. Meta data and ODBC are optional.

Then while installing, the user name needed to be given same as the O.S username. and the computername is also needed to be given when it prompts for the server name.

After that everything will work fine..
