Hi

SAP R/3 Architecture is nothing but Client/ Server Architecture.

The 3 in R/3 stands for 3 tier architecture.

The 3 tiers in SAP R/3 are

1. Presentation Layer

It acts as an Interface between user and the System.

2. Application Layer

It holds all business specific logic.

3.DataBase Layer

Where all data and inforamtion is stored.

Thanks,
Usha
