Hi all,

I am getting the following message when I start the
infa Repository server ..

Could not start INFORMATICA Repository SERVER on Local Computer

ERROR 1053 : the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion



This is the first time I found the above problem.
Could you plz let me know what might be the reason ..


Environment : Win sever 2003 , Oracle 9i and Infa 7.1.1.

you just configure repository server services which r placed in adminstrative tools(services)  .

in repository services go to properties click log on and make it local system account.start your repository service. and you just check it out when you are connecting to your repository that should be your computer name then only it will connect to the system.
