What is the impact of turning versioning on or off for an Informatica repository? What is the impact of versioning on an existing repository and the new repository, when adding a new repository to the repository server?

Versioning on repository is irreversible. Once we choose to version its done.
Let me know which version of informatica are you using.

1.Versioning is a one time and one way process on Informatica repository.
2.No impact on both the exisitng and new reprository.Infact Versioning is advantage,it is help full in team based  envirnoment.It will help in tracking  the change  made by the team members on Object by assigning version number.
