Prioritize the Test cases based on following things

1) Visibility to end user.

2)test cases for their  contribution to Most important Functionality of system.

3) With previous experience and similar projects Testing experience etc..,Where it may go wrong etc..

in the limited time. we cannot check every test cases. so application should be tested according to the functionality and iuts vasic features. check thorough;ly that application will work according to the flow it has even after changes made

Try to automate-> the high priority test cases(0,1,2)

Execute them in a regression batch .If time permits automate low priority test cases(3,4,5).Execute them in the regression batch.Log the defects.Your Regression testing is completed.

Priority Status

0-Burning,1-Very High,2-High,3-Medium,4-Low,5-Very Low

On that time we consentrate on which test case mostly effected with respect to functionaly we take those case to conduct testing as well as mostly user friendly test cases too.

Test the modules affected area with priortize test case.
Ensure no bugs should skip it from the application
Ensure that the founded bugs during rregresion shoul fix immediately closed.

In this case we should test the functionality, which is very important & customer will use it evry day.  We can skip the testing of little used features.

HI

We will give the priority against each test case which writing the test cases it can be given by doing the risk analysis and also they can be reviewed by TL and approved.

So when ever we have a suffient time then we will execute all test cases if not we will go for the high priority cases.
