when we talk of security provided by mainframe we simply know that is has never been hacked and never been attacked by virus and what makes it to stand against it is the security layers there are many secutity layers but the most important are perimeter defence control layer and assurance layer these layers disallow any kind of malacious data to enter into system

There is RACFin Mainframes.That will take care of all the security issues.RACFmeans Resource Allocation Controll Fecility.

Have heard about two kind of products:1. CA-Top Secret2. IBM RACF

RACF is Resource Access Control Facilty. It is used for logging access violations authenticating users/groups and protecting access to sub-systems
