Formulae to find the no of squares in a n*n chess board is - Sigma n(square).

In an n*n board there are [(sigma n)]power 2 rectangles sigma(npow2) squares...

to find X*Y size rectangles [(n+1)-X]*[ (n+1)-Y]*2
