The number of students is x where x< 63. Because the minimum valu of 2n-p is 1 and one student faild in at least 2n-p subjects. So the tolal number of students is x< 63.

if 2n-p is no of subjects that students have failed

n-no of students then n> 63

if the min no. of subjects students fail in is 1 and the no. of failures is 63 the total no. of students should be x> 63 n not x< 63 i guess.Hope i am correct.
