Hi, Hibernate has lots of us:1) We can use the SQL codes in application without writing the complex JDBC code.2) JDBC is Not portable whenever we use jdbc our sql codes are not potables for different database or we can say distrubted transaction. so, with the help of Hibernate we can perform distributed transaction also.3) Hibernate provides a way to store the java object directly to the table of database.4) It is freeware and robust framework to store java object in database.for more go through http://www.hibernate.orgThanks,Prabhat
