Iam doing btech final year in mechanical,i want to shift to the software side please advice me which is better java or .net and coaching centers which is better for above courses. thank you

It depends utterly on ur choice as to wht u wanna do Java/.Net.In MS tech .Net is hottest one and Java too has evolved a lot for last 5 yrs.Both are object oriented languages.So you need to know ur interest in which platform you comfortable in.

.net has got a lot of opprs its a booming market bcoz i too myself work on .net techs. And if u r in hyd Peers at ameerpet is one the best insts for .net.

The choice of java or .net  purely depends on your interest as both have very good options for career.As far as the coaching centers make a study in you area and get a detailed study of which provs best in terms of training,teaching,etc.. and join the same.All the Best.
