Yes. If the condition exists such that a! = 0 ( that is factorial of a is 0) and b! = 0(factorial of b is 0) then the result will be zero.

Deepthi, Can u give some value of a for which its factorial may be 0???

well even 0's factorial is 1

i think answer to this question is no

if a*b= 0, then either a=0 or b=0 or both

If b tends to -ve infinity then then for small values of a the expression will reach to 0.

factorial of a decimal or a negative number is going to be zero and hence if either of a or b is negative or decimal factorial number then the condition satisfies

the condition can easily be obtained if a and b are considered to be vectors

Yes we can do it

put A= i^2

B= 1+i^2

A * B = i^2(1+i^2)

        = i^2 + i^4

       = -1 + 1

       = 0

hey Cherry

i think u r Wrong.According to u b=-1 and a=infinity and thier product results in - infinity and u might b knowing that - infinity isn't = zero.

Abhinav I really appreciate you.

answer is simple if a*b=0

than there should be  atleast one number=0

and we know  factorial of 0 is always 1

so both condition never satisfie together

answer is no

Here is the answer,
    Let a=[x] from -1 to 0
          b=any value
    Then,
              a*b=[x]*something
          =>a*b=0
