numerator and denominator are in the ratio of 1:10 .new fraction was made my subtracting 1 from numerator and adding 5 to denominator.difference between the two fractions was given I think it was 1:5. Find the numerator of original fraction.

options were 4 ,5 remaining 2 I don\'t remember but 1 was not there in the answer for sure

Question seems wrong.

I tried to find out the answer but was getting a fractional value.

Hence Question might be wrong.

answer is 5
(N/D) -((N-1)/(D+5) (1/5)
solve this and put D 10N
