Hai all,

I think the testing for any application to meet the physically challenging people is called "Accessibility Testing"

    how can u say that the testing done by physically handicapped is acessibility testing how can u justify ur answer.i dont know the correct answer for this but sure its wrong.and hope the question sounds different.

actually there is no testing type for physically handicapped persons

but ya

accessibilty testing's basic purpose is that it should be accessible to all.

that is the application should be accessible to handicapped as well.

The name of the testing that can be done by handicapped person is "USABILITY TESTING" AND not accessibility testing

Accessibility Testing is done to determine whether the application is accessible to all or to some specified personnels.

Whereas usability testing sees whether the users( that include handicaps) can easily use the application

I am a fresher and please dont misguide the freshers.

Hi,

The question is different.

The question may be understanble by 2 ways:

1. Is the testing process to be conducted handicapped person!!!

or

2.Is testing should be conducted to find out whether the application can be used by handicapped person.

Incase of second choice, it supposed to be Usability testing - whether the application is user - friendly or not

 hi all,

the testing done by the physically handicapped(visually impared) is EXPLORATORY testing or Monkey testing,bcoz he do the same thing as a monkey i.e. press any key enter any data without know about it.

if i m wrong plz., suggest the right answer.

hi all,

    I agree with Rajender because ,a visually impaired person will definitely be not able to see what he is doing.He can at the maximum go on pounding on the keyboard randomly,which is called monkey testing.

 Accessibility testing is done to see if the application is accessible to all users which includes physically handicapped persons,but according to me this testing may be done by a pysically handicapped person .A normal person  when he does accessibility testing may not be able to judge properly whether the application is accessible to the pysically handicapped person,but if this testing is done by a visually impaired person,maybe he can say whether he can access the application
