hi all i got thru the infosys procedure of selection so i wanna help guys here as i got help when i wanted it most..
all questions in the APTI paper were similar to the previous yr ones.. tougher ones were similar too .. i could trace 3 question quoted exactly the same .. Shakuntala Devi book helps .. MBA aspirants can do their study material too for the prep .
Interview:(i\'ll mention all i was asked) 1. know all abt your hobbies as i was questioned on 2 of mine .. know them inside out .. b true 2. latest headlines - top 5 3. two puzzles, 12 matchsticks make 3 equilaterial triangles,one car one wheel flat , got no screwes to bolt it waht will you do? 4. life like situations , ganguly controversy was asked n my point of view on it 5. diff bw infy n wipro 6. heads of organisations 7. qualities of a leader 8. why infy(asked to my fren)
this took about 15-25 minutes.. waiting for the formal letter.. goodluck all above .. think yourself .. be original .. very original .. stereotype answers neva impress .. be orginal but sane at the same time .. done show off..

I had my interview with Infosys today. The techincal interview lasted for 30 min. In my present job I am working on a propriety system for a banking application. The interview was on following lines : project process involved in a software development/maintenance life cycle and banking concepts.
I have been shortlisted(the interviewer told so) however I did not go for HR round. The coordinator said that there will be a telephonic conversation. I am somewhat skeptical about the entire thing.

Kindly tell the answers u told ..i dont say all r same with me as urs..but the appraoch may be different......so any1 can help me regading this...
mainly wen asked why Infosys diff b/n wipro and infosys?...3equilateral triangles in 12 lines and most of all hobbies...
also i hav a gap of 1year...i was working as a lecturer ..shud i tell to them?
