srs means software Requirement Specification.

It includes functional requirements to be dveloped & system rquirements to be used.

srs contains

1.system requirements(software hardware etc)
2.functionality to be developed.

also includes

what is input
what is output
what is front-end
what is back-end
what r the technologies
what r processes
how they will interact.

srs documnet is the main reference for a tester

Software Requirement Specification is simply known as SRS Mostly System analyst team prepare SRS based on Business Requirement Specification(BRS) SRS documents contain about Hardware Software and what are the fuctionalities should going to use on that corresponding applications..

With the help of SRS tester will prepare and execute testcase.....
