When compared to that of normal GD, this people are looking whether you are speaking out of Reason or simply with emotions....

So be clear and come out with good reasonable solutions...

Be confident in your words.. For appti prepare from RS aggarwal(trignomentry,permutations,time&work.etc..)prepare verbal from GRE(bit easy)..I too going to appear interview tommorrow only.. these are wat i known from my seniour..

Yes, there is a written communication round in Caritor placement procedure.
you have to know some important current affairs that depends upon the person who supervises
you.
It is not a essay writing, It is written communication round.

I am a mechanical engineer. I got selected to Caritor. We had 4 rounds. 60 min written. then GD. Then technical. Then HR. For Non-IT people IT stuff is not asked at a point during the interview. They generally test for our ability to learn quickly and communication skills.
