- In test automation span of time is saved
- manual testing manpower is required more but in case of automation manpower can be less
- in automation testing all the test scripts run at a time.but in manual each & every line should be tested.

1.when we are having more functionalities to executing repeatedly then we will go for automation. this improves quality.
2.for unattended testing.
3.In perform testing, By using tools ,we don't need more no of computers and test engineers. These tools will give environment like more no of users on single system.
this gives more quality and verifying transaction response times also very easily.
