Convergys IMG paper

I have taken convergys exam on may-14th 2005.
the paper was..

Around 30 questions were of aptitude type.
then followed by unix questions--20 questions
DBMS questions--15 questions
c++/ java questions ,the choice of c++ or java is our option.

the aptitude was easy ...
concentrate on unix and DBMS questions..

THe paper was of completely multiple choice questions...
All thebest for those u prepare for the exam...

look anandaraj.d Its realy easy to clear it of . when u crack the first round. And concentrate on DBMS. and on Unix the offcampus selection would select 30 - 35 of the students who r selected from the first round .Good luck on 6th at RGCET. May God Bless U. And be confedent.And bold.

Have u given the paper of CONVERGYS . if yes plzzzzzzzzzz send the
questions which u remember because CONVERGYS is coming to ur college for campus placement. I request u to plzzzzzz try to remember as many questions as u can of written exam as possible(ESPECIAALY THE TECHNICAL ONES unix dbms c++). I know it's a tough job
but friends can do anything for each other. So plzzzzzzzzzzz send all
the questions of written exam .so
plz send as quickly as possible.

hello sir my name is kiran. i am studying at a private engineering college in hydebad.we were intimated that we would be having campus placement program by convergys so can you please guide me to a place where i can find all the required information regarding interview like selection proceedure technical round etc. and even for other companies(optional).

Hi Friends

I am Bhajan Mehta i have given the test of Convergys IMG on 05 Aug 2006. It was Joint Compus. there are 100 questions (all are mulitple choice). These que's were divided into 5 sections. there was no NEGTIVE marking. Each que carry 1 Mark.

Sec 1 Que 1-20 English in 22 Mins

Sec 2 Que 21-65 Aptitude in 48 Mins

Sec 3 Que 66-75 Unix in 10 Mins

Sec 4 Que 76-85 RDBMS in 10 Mins

Sec 5 Que 86-100 C++ in 15 Mins

English : There was one Paragraph containg 20 blank feilds. Each blank feild cointain 1 Mark. That is English part contains only one paragraph of 20 Marks

Apptitude :- It was easy u should do practice so that it can be completed within the time. for this u can follow R.S. Aggerwal. There was 13 que's related to vain daigram.

Unix : Each ques. have a program u have to tell output of the program. It require MORE attention.

RDBMS :- It contains 2 questions related to SQL quiries remaing are from RDBMS theory.

C++ :- one que from Exception handling One from Templet remaing que's contains programs we have to tell the output. Pointers are used in many questions. It is also require MORE attention.
