Differences Btn Datagrid flexgrid.

1. Datagrid is Editable flexgrid is Diplay only.

2. Data binding is possible with datagrid but not with flexgrid.

hi i would like to clearfy some of my doubts regarding u r ans1. how datasource is a difference factor because in flexgrid also we can add one data contron in design time and call the data source property of flexgrid to connect to data base.2.fornatting methods what does it mean? we can format the text inside cell by using some of the properties of flexgrid.3.can u plz explain how user interface is an answer for differentiating flexgrid~dbgridwaiting for u r commentregardsshiv

The 3 Difference between data grid and flex grid

1. Data Grid is Editable flexgrid is Diplay only.

2. DBGrid allows full data binding while MSFlexGrid allows read-only binding

3. MSFlex grid is smaller and allows cell merging while Datagrid is larger and
does not allow cell merging
