if they meet at t time.dist. travelled by first one I*tdist. travelled by second one H*ttotal distance is t*(I+H)=Lso t= L/(I+H)meeting point is I*t = I*L/(I+H) dist. from port

Hai rajitha

It involves in simple formulae, if a ship started in port with I kmph,

another ship start at a distance L km from port with a speed of H kmph

then the meeting time of both ships = L/(I-H)

at what distance they meet = t*d = l/(i-h)*i

From the port to the perticular distance is L.

So from simple maths, You can say that if (I+H) mph distance can cover in 1 hour, then l distace cancover by L/(I+H) hours.
