RE: Difference between Key and Descriptive Flexfield?

Key flex filed is used to store key information whereas descriptive flexfiled is used to store additional informations.

ex: if you go to Application Developer then flexfiled---key flexfiled ---segments---segment separator

Segment separator is a key flexfiled

whereas a small box besides segment separator is descriptive flexfiled.
