pm .

None of the options given will match you have to assume the nearest answer.
Rest of the questions were lengthy of puzzle type  type only.

Section 2 (10 min)Data interpretation : Very very tough and lengthy questions of CAT level The problem statement itself is huge about 1 page or so. but
manageable.

Section 3 (15 min)Logical Reasoning
One bus route connecting puzzle huge one   Again 4 lengthy puzzles but on each puzzle only 2 to 3 questions were asked. So that is what makes their
paper challenging

Iflex test pattern in detail---January 7th 2006

Iflex paper jan 7 2006

I got the same paper as the one on july Sakek collg given above.

Do go thru these questions u might get the same paper or similar paper

definately similar one if not same.

4 sections

1.Section one 15 questions-20 min

a> A plane goes east at 8 am with 600km/hr Another plane goes  north at 5 pm with 650km/hr .What will be the distance between them at 8
The same sum was given in my booklet too.As stated most of the answers were not matching and were approximate values

b>one series sum

c>one bar graph and 3 questions on that the graph, graph represented the number of companies served in iflex from 1998 to 2003.

year              no of companies

1998-1999       55

1999-2000       66

2000-2001       74

2001-2002       84

2002-2003       96

Q1 what is the average increase in the number of companies from 1998 to 2005

options 1>7.6 2>8.8 3>6.6 4>9.4

q2> and q3 were very simple I don't remember them.

c> one sum on series

d>. 11 members in the football team age of wicket keeper 26 captain 28 average was given captain was eldest one etc etc sorry frnds don't remember

e>original fraction: numerator and denominator are in the ratio of 1:10 .new fraction was made my subtracting 1 from numerator and adding 5 to denominator.difference between the two fractions was given I think it was 1:5. Find the numerator of original fraction.

options were 4 ,5 remaining 2 I don't remember but 1 was not there in the answer for sure.

f>the 4 subjects marks in the ratio 6:7:8:9 and average=60 how many subjects more than 50 did he score.

g>150 questions of which 25% maths questions. Each maths sum takes twice the time than normal sum.In 2 hours you solve all the sums how much time does you solve maths sums?

Ans a>48 b>55,c>58,d>60

Section 2 10 questions 20 min

two questions

Q1>3 types of machines welding machine and 2 more types,lets say A,B and C .4 A's means 4 welding machines,10 B's and 6 C's.

Product x needs 20 min of A 1 hour of B and 30 minutes of C.

Product y needs 1 hour of A 2 hors of B and 1 hour of C

Q1>in a day (24 hours) how many units of X can be made

Q2>how many Y???

3 more questions (Solve these types of questions)

2>this was simple problem

Section 3 Analytical questions 15 questions-20 min

4 problems with 4 ,4,3,4 questions

For getting thru them solve the  Barrons 13th edition analytical sums,Questions won't be same but if u practice from Barrons u can clear this section similar type of sums are asked .I felt this was the easiest section.

Example

2 from A,B,C and 3 from P  Q R S T

Constraints

1.C wont go with S

2.S wont go with P

3.Q wont go with T

and

3 questions were asked like if C is selected who must be selected etc etc

Similar sum was asked in the test

1.I also got the same sum of the buses and routes ABCDEF are the stops and there were 6 busses no 1 to 6 running between them.Table was given like

1.A to B  bus number 5 and 6

2.B to D bus number 4

In this way 8 entries were given

Just make a directional graph ure work is done

q1.how many oneway and two way routes.Ans 4 and 4

q2.Which bus takes directly from A to G?

etc etc from the table draw a graph directional.and ure problem is solved

Section 4 Logical Reasoning 20 questions 25 minutes

question no 1 to 3:- Fill in the blanks

question 4 to 6 :- two blanks are given the same as the GRe sentence completion solve that u'll get them right

question 6 to 9:-4 sentences with blanks are given and as options 4 words are given  now u have to find from these words the word which fits all the 4 sentenses. In this way four questions are given

question 10 to 15:-the logical reasoning problems from the 13th edition Barrons only in 12 11 and 13th edition.solve them

Example:- one small passage of 4 lines is given. now 4 statements are given and question is asked like which of the four statements if true then contradicts the message in the passage or supports the message in the pasage. Solve Barons logical section 13th edition for practice of such type of sums

question 16 to 20

one passage was given the same streaming of audio and video was given in my paper easy one.

Thats all friends,I hope this will help u all to clear the test. This is their pattern .Wish you all the best for ure job hunt.
