the selection process consists of 1. aptitude test- 2hrs.
it has 2 sections.i) critical reasoning or numerical ability like...ii) some 10-15 puzzles(will be quite easy).
2. then we have a series of interviews,, may be 2 technical and 1 h.r.
the company usualy has a strike rate of 2%, that is, they will select 2 people out of 100. for me in tech interview, they asked only puzzles and some basic C programs.(like factorial, string manupulations) interviews may be easy, but they will select only few people.
I have already attended the interview in adventnet, but the aptitude test is too tough for me to clear. I have lost in that round. I want to get placed in adventnet company. Can you suggest me the materials and authors on which I can prepare for the aptitude round.

I too passed through the selection procedure of adventnet and I Got placed in this well known company. As of me also the selection procedure was some what difficult. We have to concentrate more in numerical ability and logical reasoning for passing through the aptitude round. But we can't predict the way of questions as they will ask questions from all the areas. Still I advise you to concentrate more in percentage problems of trains speed probability loss and profit and problems on ages. Second and third are meant for measuring the technical skills. But they didn't try for testing what we didn't know but for what we had known.
