1. Test for multi platform support install
2. Test for installation over network
3. Test for installtion over CD
4. Test for installtion directory change other than default
5. Test for configuration changes made to the product during install

Clean install

Install on a typical (dirty) system

Install on various versions of Operating system.

Installing over previous install including previous versions of the software if they exist.

Also check the files after installing have they being modified or not.
