Both at-line selection and at user-command are the events for the interactive reports. An interactive report consist of 1 main screen and 20 subscreens using which the report can be clearly described. The screen number in the interactive report is denoted by the system variable sy-lsind. At-line selection. This event is triggered when the user double clicks on any screen of an interactive report. When the user does that the next subscreen is displayed and the value of sy-lsind is increased by 1 thus denoting the screen number.At-user command. This event is triggered when the user selects any menu item in the screen. When the user does this the next screen is displayed and the value of the sy-lsind is increased by 1 thus denoting the screen number.

Both above events are used in Interactive reports. The only difference is when/how they trigger.

AT LINE-SELECTION – This event is executed whenever the user double-click a list item displayed by WRITE / ULINE / SKIP or a single-click when HOTSPOT is added to the list.

AT USER-COMMAND - This event is executed whenever the user presses a function key in the list or makes an entry in the command field.
