2 equilateral triangles with adj hyp will form a square. no other combination of triangles works for the fornation of a square.

It is not possible joining 2 equilateral traingles since diagonal of square is root 2 times the side so to make a square we require 2 right angled isosceles triangles so that right angle is made with 2 equal sides and joining 2 hypotenuse
now we acquire a square with its prop.. equal sides and each angle 90 deg.
