Thers a standard package ad_dd using which we have to register a table and its columns.

Open Flexfield > Descriptive >Register and query required DFF. Click on Columns button enable/disable required columns there.

Hi

While defining a value-set we can define that the values need to be picked from a sepcific column in a table. Later this value-set can be attached to the segment. In this manner the segment will have values from the database table column.

while u will go through the following

Application developer--> flexfleds--> dff-->segment

there u can find out the enabled check box if u want use the database column then u will check the enabled check box instead of that unchecking the enabled check box
