*mandt is the field with mandt as the data element

*automatically client which we login is populated to mandt

If your first field is not MANDT, then it is client independent table.

we should not fill the first field as MANDT then the table becomes client independent.

Client dependent tables have MANDT as its first field and the data type of MANDT is CLNT..In Order to create a client independent table, do not mention the MANDT in the first field of the table.
