consider some ones salary as 20000 and solve

s=20000 h 30 days x=10

then s/h =660
s-((s/h)*x)=20000-(6,600)

Hence Answer is s-((s/h)*x)

the officer get S  rupee for H days of work ,then he takes x days of medical leave so the no of days he works is (H-x). but he will get the same salary i.e S so the average salary per day is (S/(H-x)).
