I attended the satyam test long back i dont remember the question but i can give some use full guidelines.

1. In test they give importance to percentage of correctness out of the total attended. i,e out of 15 questions even if u attended 7-8 and all correct u will be selected , but if u attended 14 and 5 are worng u many not be selected.
finally i mean to say don't simply guess . take time to find the proper answer.

2.In the test u may get direct question R.S AGGRWAL 's 2 books.
test is not actually difficult. take time and give correct answer.

3.In group dissusion , talk to u r group members before u enter the room
(if possible ) try to rembember their names and use it when u address them.
tell every one in the group that if the overall group perfrom well then max students will be selected.

4. group disscusion can be successfull only if u give the conclusion to the disscusion.

5, to get good points in GD either u start or u give conclusion to GD and u should mention that u r giving conclusion.

6. start with eithe far or against the statment given to u in gd. dont ever start in between. u can come to some compromise at the conclusion.

7. they will ask basic questions on
c - funtions , pointers
c++ oops concepts, virtual funtions, differnce b/w c and c++ and some syntax

DBMS - normalizations , differents joins ,sql, er diagrams

network - reference models not much.

micro processor - pin diagram ,properties and differences b/w 8085 8086 8088
they may ask java.
